I've finally found the scientific paper that had been written about the DNA extraction from Neanderthal assemblages.
The kernal of the paper:
The found genes within the Neanderthal DNA that inform of specific common diseases traits that Neanderthal was prone to:
1: Mongoloidism
2: Autism
They also tested to see if Neanderthal was related to Chimps like we are. They weren't.
Neanderthal genes were relative to those of the Haplo Group S. People who live in Papua match this Hyplo Type.
Neanderthal also matches Haplo types from China and Samoa. I found that to be very interesting!
On another unrelated study on another individual they found genes that were revelent for red hair and brown eyes from a female assemblage.
