Whilst clearing my old wardrobe for bedrock to dismantle and take down the local tip, I managed to find my old 'passport documents' which I had really, thought I had chucked out in a fit of pique, when I found out the diagnosis from my consultant, almost two years ago (!)
As I have managed to last a bit longer than I thought I was going to (the hospital were not able to give me a 'time period'), my son & daughter -in- law have been urging me (and bedrock) to go to Spain with them periodically on mini-crusises which they take whenever they have time. A few weeks ago, I finally agreed (I didn't think that I had lost the documents at the time). There begins a massive search on my part to locate the relavant papers that the passport office will require . . . . I gave up in the end!
Sooooo, anyhow. . . I had to empty my wardrobe as previously said. Deciding to check out my old hanbags (purses) and discard them, I emptied them out and lo & behold . . . they were in one of them!!!!!!! I am 'well chuffed'!!!
