Its terrible when shutdowns take place, they can be so devastating to families - as the people here in Wales and, other mining communities in the UK know only too well.

The day will come, when you will suddenly 'realise', why you stayed with him for so long. For quite a while you will have the alternating, pangs of 'WHY, did I leave'? and the 'WHY, did I stay there so long'?
Once the final realization, does, come - it'll hit you like a brick - -
from that time on, you will be so, relieved that you or yours NEVER, have to be subjected to that again. BE STRONG

I feel for the owner of the Labrador, I love all types of dogs and its horible when this type of thing happens. Personnally, I dont know any Pit-bulls but I do have a Rottie who, according to the media, are a very viscious animal. I totally disagree with this - although I do, agree that have a 'hellava' strength in them, the animal is, whatever the 'owner' wants them to be - bad owner = bad dog. Chloe, our Rottie is a lamb - never showing herself to be in 'Wolves' clothing either. I believe that the owner of the Pit-bull in question, to be a 'bad owner'; hence the 'bad-dog'. I think that there are a lot of 'good' owners of pit-bulls, who are equally disgusted by this dogs attack on the Lab. but I cannot condemn,
all, dogs of this breed

In my opinion, this blogsite is far more like the 'old' Blogster - which
was quite brilliant when Eddie & Co. had it - and I believe that this one is going to be the same . There was soooo much fun to be had with everybody - bring back the 'fun' I say, there's too much doom and gloom in the world as it is, let us have some 'escapism' and laughs - not sadness.
I'm with you, lets keep it nice and friendly

Mary, as I mentioned to you yesterday I think it was, you are 'on a diet'
and having to go without certain foods that are 'bad' for you at present . . . the receptors inside your head, are beginning to shout to you in the only way 'they' know how, to attempt to stop trying to do what
'YOU' want to do; this is merely their way of getting to you. Have a rest, by all means - but while resting - 'think' your way 'tougher mentally' - it will eventually make you 'phyically' tougher. C'mon Mary, you have plenty of good mates egging you on to your goals!
