Well done Mary, you are putting it into practice, excellent!! I am going to have to make some kind of 'Graduation' certificate, for the person who can put it all into practice Have you had a look at the 'Cockney Rhyming Slang' i did quite a few posts ago? I'd love someone to have a go at putting a few sentences together using it - you could even do it by using American, words! That, would be interesting
*Mental note to self* . . . must remember to bow to you when I see you tomorrow evening . . . . . !
Good thinking Terri, excellent wisdom!
It's amazing, just how much we take for granted. The beauty that can be found in a simple blade of grass or some chore which has always been some kind of 'bug-bear' in your past, can, become something that you'd quite cheerfully put up with in your future. It is most definitely a good thing to appreciate just what we do, have
Oh boy, I feel for you Elfie . . . the problems we had with A.O.L. are horrific - still on-going actually-they tried billing us for fifteen pounds recently, which we, apparently 'owe' them - we weren't even able to get a blinking 'signal' for them . . .!!!! Hence - the bill being returned to them, plus a few choice words! Hope you have been able to start to enjoy it now though
I am not going to say that 'it won't happen to us' over here in the UK, for it's a certainty that the 'Gods' will say different. It is advice worth remembering - even if it is, when we venture abroad. Good article Jon.
Ridiculous prices! Every time we go to 'fill up', there is an increase!
If there is any pudding left after Lynnies finished, may I finish him//sorry, 'It' off . . . . ??????
Whenever possible, I look out for the coupons too, but like you, especially, when the store is really busy, I have made mistakes which have increased the bill - I kick myself when this happens!!
- I also have a 'my' chair - whenever i have to leave the room, I tend to place my footstool on it in order to 'keep' it - mainly from the cats and dogs, who always give me 'killer eyes' for doing so . . .
The label and the name, does strike a chord. A sad passing
They grow so fast! Pass my Congratulations on the Graduation achievement Joan
