Lynnie has given me the somewhat odious task of nominating me, as her anti-smoking ‘mentor’.

Please don’t get me wrong, I sincerely want her to quit entirely. My job, is to give her all the support and offer advice but, most of all . . . encouragement.

I do feel a bit of a hypocrite as I do smoke myself, but that leads on to another subject which I won’t bore you with . . . (at least, not for the moment)! Lol

Needless to say, Lynnette has been on my mind for a few days now. I can feel her (obvious) anguish and mental torture that she most probably going through, but I know she has the ability to fight these demons. Lynnette, like me, can call upon support from our two acquaintances ‘Will Power and Perse Verance’ ~ these two mates are always with us!

Just before I began writing this post, I was brushing the hall & kitchen floors while thinking about her and I was reminded of a chat I heard Alice Cooper gave when he was on the radio a couple of years ago.

He compared ‘giving up smoking’ (cigarettes) to getting off of heroin ~ and, apparently ~ it is ‘harder’, to give up the old ’20 a day’!!!

Now, knowing  Lynnette (Lynnie), she relishes, in achieving the goals we, mere mortals, fail miserably at!  (look how hard she worked at winning that ‘Blue Belt’ for Karate, against All the odds of her knee holding up ~ ~ she did it though)!!!

Lynnie is a pure blood FIGHTER!

She will NEVER, let ANYONE or NICOTINE,

To get the BETTER of her! (WORD)!

Conclusion : It won’t be long until she is able to boast (quite loudly & justifiably) :

“I have done  it”!
