My sons car 'gave up the ghost' one day last week so, the biggest object of this bank holiday weekend, has been one of finding a, mutually compatable, vehicle for him to get back and for work with.
At last, this afternoon bore fruit! He managed to find a black Ford Mondeo tdi in Caerwent. He and Phillipa went to view it and, ultimately bought it . . . . thank goodness! (I don't think I could have stood, much more of long faces and the 'what am I going to do for work' scenario's)!! lol - men and their toys, I dunno - they have got Shanks' Pony, after all . . . . . . . . . . !

I'm pleased that all turned out well where Lynnies 'barnet' is concerned . . . looking forward to seeing it, have to admit. I think the shade will suit her down to the ground (mind you, she has the (annoying)lol, advantage of always looking beautiful, even when she has just crawled out of bed! I jest you not! If she only had a 'hessian sack' to put on, she would still wear it with a certain 'distinction and style' which comes so naturally, to her - but, without any 'airs or graces'. So, I am itching to take a peek at the new 'her'!
