Last evening I watched an episode of ‘Time Team’ – the archeological
programme – with much interest.
It wasn’t just, the subject matter which they were discussing and searching
for, but the D.N.A. test they had taken for one of the presenters of the show.

It was amazing! I hadn’t realised just how much, these tests reveal about
ones ancestory!

The test showed his origins from the second ice age!!

Needless to say, I decided that I, want to find out about my journey
from that era. So, I have sent for a test.

There have been so many influxes of peoples from other countries during
the development of what now is the ‘UK’ and I would love, to know
who has donated what, in my personal evolvement.

As I am of Welsh pedigree - on both my maternal and paternal lineage,
I have always been intrigued as to ‘why’ I, my mother and some of her
siblings, her mother and two of my children, are all ‘blonde haired & blue eyed’. . . after all, the characteristics of a Welshman/woman,
are ‘dark hair and eyes’ (and of a smaller physique, compared to some
of my relations).
Is there some other earlier, trait showing through? Maybe
Scandinavian (Viking), or another Germanic race showing up?
Oooh, I am itching to know . . . .
