Dick Cheney

I think that I said I wasn't going to be political on this blog, but it happens every day! Here is a link to the HuffPost that shows why my blood is boiling again! If you read this tomorrow, of course, it will be a different headline. The abc report will remain. I'm deleting the link and substituting the actual headline that we had.

4,000 DEAD
Cheney: They Volunteered

The quickread leads to the abc article: This article

Sorry, I have to run off again... will be back later.

Democracy our style doesn't translate well. Overseas, it comes out as polluted water, uncertain electricity and sudden death.
Using the world 'democracy' for Americans covers up a multiplicity of sins.
Michelle Malkin mocks the sharia-based law that prohibits dancing on Afghan TV. She questions if this is a form of democracy.
I submit the Afghan take on democracy is much more civilized than ours.

We could have had universal health care on the money it takes to keep Cheney's black heart ticking. The troops may have volunteered, but I am sure none of them anticipated the stoplosses, lack of equipment, body armor, insufficently treated water, and I could go on but you already know all this I am sure..

Dr. Strangelove lives. I hope everyone with a brain watched the PBS Special on the concocted war last night. After he is gone I hope someone uses a wooden stake on him so he won't rise again from the dead.

"Noting the burden placed on military families, the vice president said the biggest burden is carried by President George W. Bush, who made the decision to commit US troops to war, and reminded the public that U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan volunteered for duty."

This statement is the most disturbing seeing neither Mr. Cheney or George Bush have any idea what sacrifices are made particularly, when their lives have been ones of entitlement? It's typical of Cheney to reply when the specter of public opinion of war is raised with a reply of "so"? Then to add, "It's important to achieve victory in Iraq. It's important to win, to succeed in the objective that we've established."

These are all statements of contradictions. How do you define success in Iraq? Why does the fact that almost 70 percent against the war become irrelevant? And, how can anyone say the biggest burden is carried by George Bush? I'm absolutely certain that if you ask a mother or father where the burden really is, you certainly would get the true answer.

It just shows how completely out of touch they are with reality. This article goes beyond just sad and shocking, but more defines how simply pathetic he really is. The man has no soul.

Stop picking on Cheney--he only has a few more months to stock up on oil money before he has to go on the dole--oh, that's right--he has all those millions of dollars off shore.
