Keith and Hillary

I should change the title of this blog. I wasn't going to address politics, but was planning to have a little fun time, some time out on this blog. But, then there are a few things that are on my mind.

I have been in support of Barack Obama. Everyone knows that. Keith Olbermann knows that and I have been on his show. He also supports Senator Obama. But, and this is a big BUT, I think he was entirely out of line with his "Special Comment" on Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro. He took Ms. Ferraro's every word and nuance and pounced on them with a vengeance. I know that he has been waiting to do this. As a woman, I do feel the vehemance of Keith against Senator Clinton and Ms. Ferraro. It is fine to be for Senator Obama, but to do a Special Comment on Senator Clinton, as he did with President Bush... are they on the same level of incompetence and malice?

The race card -- as an immigrant to this fine country, I am very sensitive to this issue. At this point, everyone is playing the race card. Everybody, including Mr. Obama, Mrs. Clinton, Ms. Ferraro, and Mr. Olbermann. Who is this benefitting? How is the country taking it? It is reinforcing race as an issue. I thought we had gone beyond that. I had hoped we had gone beyond that. It is as ridiculous as asking if Senator McCain was disqualified because his father was not stationed on U.S. territory when the senator was born. Just ridiculous!

This will be my only political blog, unless something else raises my blood pressure.

By the way, this blog is all in good fun... I have an entire newspaper and several books to air my views!

Also, by the way, hello, Bumped Off! Good to see you here.

I just wish Hillary and Obama would stop sniping at each other (giving McCain ammunition) and spell out what they will do instead of saying they have plans.
I'm not a political animal though ekyprogressive (James) has taught me a lot and I'm always ready to learn!!!

My first wife had lunch with Senator John Kennedy and became a Nixon supporter. My mom and I had a conversation with Vice President Nixon while he waited for his children in the Empire State Building. I later backed Kennedy.
A meaningless contrast, I should have been a TV news reporter.
BTW, have you found the elusive second 'n'?

Welcome to mybloggers!

I'm a fan of neither Hitlery nor Obama. Hitlery for obvious reasons and Obama because I am from Illinois; I know what he says he will do verses what he actually does ,which isn't what he says he will do. But as ekyprogressive and strider333 will tell you, regardless of my political beliefs, they do not interfere with friendships nor blog relations. ekyprogressive is an amazing researcher on political affairs...absolutely amazing. Strider is great too! We've had our share of debates but continue to respect each other's perspectives.

And, THAT, is what you will find here at MyBloggers!

Welcome, again!

They seem to think they have to play the race card. Something visceral and deep seated in people to make them have that "knee-jerk" (emphasis on "jerk"..LOL) reaction. The Hillary camp tried the sexism/feminist argument for support, but it doesn't really float when you base your "political experience" on getting where you are thanks to your husband, does it.

Love your other site too, btw.

Hillary has been dropping the relentles big "Rove" bombs and maybe, just maybe, Obama let out a little frustration. The Huffington Post starting body slamming Hillary as soon as she stepped into the ring? When I supported her earlier, it was getting frustrating going to that site to see the latest rips? In any case, it doesn't matter now, I've switched to Obama...welcome
