You always have such amazing stories. You have an interesting life.
I probably wouldn't do well with this book as I get nauseated when doing one side of my family's genealogy. They were Mormons and connected in with Brigham Young and Joseph Smith. At one point, someone must have drifted away, because the last few generations weren't Mormon. But, I really get sick feeling when I am working on it.
We all need to learn this truth. Great blog Ana!!!!
I'm an old car fanatic. That is some car!!! Las Vegas only had a population of 30. Unbelievable.
Enjoy your wine, Jon. I doubt if the truck even comes to Klamath Falls.
It probably will take time for your back to heal. I don't want to discourage you, but you will definitely have to be patient. Mainly, don't lift ANYTHING!!!!! I can't express that enough. It is too easy to cause further damage when lifting. If it hurts in the least... don't do it!!!! Even a milk carton out of the back of the refrigerator can cause you problems. Do you have someone to help around the house?
Love & prayers - Annie
Hayduke's father has it right.
I think you have voiced the frustrations of many of us who have ever needed something fixed. At present, my engine light is on in my car and they were suppose to have "fixed" it 3 weeks ago. Guess the fix didn't take.

I hope it wasn't Westmont students. I know one of the students attending there at present. I will have to check with my daughter and see if she has heard anything, since she was just down there to visit that student.
That is sad fredo. It is part of the life cycle, but aging and sick parents are still a heartbreak. I'm sure you and Mike will have a nice Thanksgiving. You will figure something out. Personally, I haven't worked mine out either. JR might not get home so mine is kinda in limbo, too.
Love ya - Annie
Actually, I think that is the first time I have quoted a scripture on someone else's blog and I don't remember quoting one on mine either. But, your blog just screamed for a scripture. It wasn't the greatness of science, but the bashing of religion. Since you enjoyed it so much, maybe I will have to do it again.
Your religiously "flawed" friend - Annie :o)
That is soooo nice.
I'm having a difficult time sleeping tonight. Partly it is the financial pressures JR and I are facing right now. But, I also have a lot on my mind lately and it is the result of some of the blogs. I don't think it is so much the fighting and bad words, but I am seeing lives that are so mixed up and hurting.
Lately, I have had such a love for these people whose blogs I read each day and they have been in my prayers. I don't just think it is me who is leading me down this path of prayer, but God who loves each and everyone of us, too. Sadly, some on here don't know how much God loves them and some don't even believe in Him.
I don't think it would do any good to "preach" to them... so I just continue to pray and to be a caring friend.
Also, I read your next post about your health. I'm sorry to hear that your leg is so bad. I will be praying for you, too.
Annie :o)
Hi Nena - I'm glad you went to the doctor and that you are going to get an MRI. Now, please be careful and don't go taking any more of those falls. My prayers continue to be with you, your sister, and with Hazel.
