I appreciate your enthusiasm. Unfortunately, pols who make sense go nowhere in our system. I'd bet half the people in this country are receiving some form of stipend from Big Bra'--they wouldn't give that up, they've gotten use to the good life. I'm not being doom&gloom...just realistic. And the printing presses keep running!
Thanks for stopping by! I think you missed the major point of this article and that is that we are upon a huge economic disaster that cannot be prevented but in that inevitable disaster is hope - an Angel in Disguise - if we recognize it as such and make the right decisions...balance amidst turmoil, then balance before change. Then comes renewal, followed by recovery. All politicians cannot be stero-typed with the rest. That is not fair nor is it wise. Stereo-typing anyone or anything leads to ignorance which leads to faulty perceptions and misunderstandings of what is real which is the exact recipe for making blind choices and the wrong ones. Always keep the faith. Faith is the "key" to miracles happening. I do not agree with your perception of reality for from where I stand, in the position I'm standing in, with the experience I've had, reality is what you decide to make of it, not what others chose for you. Blaming the system or someone else for the position you are in is a cop out and an inability to put forth the energy and effort to see the project through to fruition. The project is American values which is American duties and responsibilities. All Americans have a responsibility to their country and their fellow citizens/neighbors. We all are a part of this government - We the People, in order to perform a more perfect Union - We the people are the government. We make the choices that put those politicians in office and until you and all others, myself included, are willing to admit your/our own part in this major dilemma we face as a nation, it will never change. WE, the people, are change.

I agree with you, one cannot stereotype all politicians... just look at our friend Ron Paul!
Oh, and just to add a lil info to the comment by 'oldfatguy' the Criminal Justice Magazine, Spring 2003, Vol. 18 No. 1 said that the single most important factor leading to wrongful conviction is eyewitness misidentification.
We the people, each and every one, has our own individual and different REALITY, which can and does change day by day, and/or minute by minute. REALITY, is just the perception of what we think is happening, as viewed by the creations within our minds. Case in point; my past career of 35 years, we proved over and over, beyond a doubt, that 95% of each and all "eyewitness" "selections" - lineups, photospreads, etc.; rapists, robberies, shootings, etc. - were the wrong person.
