We are a "Republic" not a "Democracy". A Democracy rules by "majority" a Republic PROTECTS the minority view as that is critically important to maintaining Liberty.
Purported "Witches" who were simply everyday women that other people had a "grudge against" were Burned at the Stake because of a DEMOCRACY and a majority of opinion. It didn't make them right, it only shows that the majority can be total fucking idiots.
