Cause and Effect: How to Change the World

The only control you have over the world is through your control of yourself. Yes, everything is connected. Yes, everything affects everything else. Yes, yes, yes, but you can't control effects, only cause. Cause is within yourself controlled by your intentions and what those intentions project outward. You can "encourage" others to focus on themselves thereby helping to help the universe but you cannot control effects. All the ills that ail us are the "effects" of the causes that were put into motion by the intentions of others before us. Global warming is an effect, not a cause. There are far greater forces controlling that cause. Individuals "collectively" are extremely powerful, and that is the goal; to help other individuals see the truth. Once truth is understood, everything else corrects itself. The efforts cannot be on chasing after effects by the focus being on changing them; that is ludicrous. The effort must be to change or eliminate the cause, and that cause comes from within each individual. If you want to change the world, understand what it means to change yourself and your thoughts, and then encourage others to do the same, and the ails of the world will correct themselves by the effects of the cause that is in motion.
