Thank You for Allowing Me to Share One of My Beads
Thank You for allowing me to share one of my Beads
Today is a day that I get to talk at great length with my Beads. It will be a tough day, a day of tears and grieving, a day of thanks and a day of remembrance.
Sharing Mikes story has helped me be ready for today. I hope that my sharing doesn’t cause grief or pain for others. It’s been over 40 years I’ve carried these Beads.
A friend asked one day "Why did I choose Beads?"
Remember this was the time when I didn’t believe a God existed, however I did notice that the Catholic men got great strength thru their Rosary Beads. They told me each Bead has its own power and strength. I never wanted to forget any of my men so I started saving a Bead for each of their partings. Each and every Bead has a story and a mental photo memory of each of my men. Yes they are still my men. I gave an at ease order but no dismissed order.
I hope maybe that will help you understand my sharing, to me it feels like they are still here.
Thank you for your understanding
The Big Grouch (the nickname they gave me, I’m sure with love)
