My new profile picture!
How could you not like the big brown eyes asking forgiveness of God only knows what. Well as many of you know that’s my life.
When this picture popped up it brought back so many memories of days gone by, I had to use it. I can’t write as beautiful as the rest of you, however I can shared some of my pass (the lawyer said time is on my side.)
A long time ago in another world there lived a small boy that just moved to the country. In those days country meant just that nothing around for miles. For making this change this young boy got a gift..... a puppy..... they said he was a mix of cocker and some little mutt. Well the young boy just loved this puppy it was the best gift he had ever received, and believe me I know.
As the months went by the puppy got bigger and bigger and bigger till one day he was to big to keep. So the owners of the land where this young boy lived said he had to go. Luckily there was the farmer next door that needed a cow dog, you know the one they brings the milking cows to the barn. (You see in those days cows were allowed to be free.) Well needless to say the cow dog stampeded the herd of milk cows and ran away. He showed back up at the boys home with a mad farmer not to far behind.
The owner of the land where the boy stayed listen to the boys idea of chaining the dog to a big dog house made out of very heavy 4x6's. That way every one won. The boy was so happy. Did I mention a fairly large highway near by?
Everything went well for a few days and then we heard all these horns honking, and honking, and honking. Well it seems that this tiny little puppy that grew up had the highway completely shut down with him, his dog house and a few things the chains picked up,.boy oh boy were their some very unhappy people yelling at my dog. Oops I spilled the beans.
Eventually everything got fixed and we had to give my dog to some one else that turned out to be a loving dog lover.
Did I mention that the photo and my dog looked exactly alike and that I named my dog "Little Angel?"
PS Thank you to whom ever put that photo on the web.
Oh, by the way, the post is very good, too. Great story there.
