It's how I always live, and I never did like all that hugging between casual acquaintances.
Do you have ocean sounds there? Seems like that would be so peaceful at night.
So cute!
Yes, hope you don't end up looking like that old guy in Moonshiners or one of the Duck Dynasty family.
Such interesting nicknames!
I always enjoy your descriptions of the business of domain names. I nearly got wordy here in your post, will do my own post.
Sorry! I forgot to open the post in Edit and close it so the line breaks would work.
Lovely!
So many familiar names! When I read lists like this, there's always some where I'm surprised they were still around to die in 2019 because I hadn't heard anything about them in so long, or I thought they were much older than they were. The older I get, the younger 70 and 80 seems. But I know that to 28 year-olds I look old, just old.
I have been seeing articles talking about conserving resources and not pollute the oceans with microfibers, and one suggestion was the people wash their clothes less often - said they tend to wear them once and toss in the laundry instead of hanging them up. I suspect people who use the laundromat get more wearings, but don't know.
I bought one of those Cora Balls that is supposed to capture microfibers to keep them out of the oceans. It's hard to tell if they work because it takes awhile for any fibers to show in the catchy part. One thing I don't like is they catch on towels and anything with a loose edge, so I have to be careful what I use them with. The marketing said they also catch human hair, but I haven't observed that.
If it was my birthday, I'd enjoy a basket or box of snacks in small one- to two-serving packets. Maybe chips, pretzels, some M&Ms, a couple candy bars, 2 or 3 cans of pop, a bottle of wine. These are all things I don't usually buy for myself, so they are a treat. If food isn't the thing, maybe some nice placemats. OR... someone gave me a lava lamp that has colored glitter instead of lava, and I love it - it's a silly thing, and definitely not something I'd buy for myself.
It got funnier and funnier. Thanks!
Yes, the son's face when he realizes the jig is up.
