Reality Check

All you folks out there dreaming about the democrat who's going to take office and give us "Free Health Care". Has it occured to you that free government health care is already out there in the forms of Medic-aid and Medi-care? And would you please take a minute of reality time to consider if that's the kind of health care you're looking forward to?
Not sure? Ask anyone who's already on it.

I certainly am not, though I'm not a McCain fan either. This country needs radical change for the better, most definitely NOT another Clinton/Bush and certainly not a young whippersnapper like Obama who hasn't even fulfilled the Senate responsibilities he was elected to take care of in the first place.

Well I don't think anyone is on the right track for Universal Health Care. And, seeing we're the only industrialized country on planet earth, the comparisons are quite simple. As for our Medi-care program, it's unsustainable clearly. We have administrative costs in some cases up to 50 percent. Unfortunately, we have close to 70 million baby boomers heading into retirement with increased health care costs. I don't think the Health Care Crisis will be solved simply because the billions and billions of profits by the monopolies of this industry along with the AMA. We have a new corporatism in this industry that perfect mimics communism...no competition. It's clear we pay more per person for health care but rank below some third world countries for quality care. The system is broke and I see no one looking or being capable to fix it. So, if your wealthy, you have a better chance to be healthy. If you're not, you may be a short time away from bankruptcy with serious health issue.
