Lets all get excited now, as NASCAR is about to embark on the 2009 season with their super bowl as the first up on the many, many, many boring weekends to appear on the not too distant future. The sponsors are abandoning ship and many a driver is wondering what in the hell is going on as I no longer have the ;privilege of driving around, and around, and around in order to race, around and around and around for 40 or so laps and, what is one to do now that my gravy train has evaporated. Well, downsize for one and put some excitement back into this sport with some racing that involves who leads the most laps in 50 increment segments. I really miss racing as it used to be. Todays product is too commercialized and controlled by mega bucks that will eventually lead to the end of their TV revenue and that will mark the end of an era of millionaire drivers. Gees, come to think of it, that is not all that bad.
