Pillage This!

I've been brought to my knees many times by great pain and handicapped by my devastating weaknesses as well, but never is anything more powerful than being brought to my knees out of Gratitude. I know, tis the season and it's a bite trite given the timing and all, but I simply had to share this. I am profoundly grateful for the many blessings that have been afforded me. My life today is not what I would have planned, and that's probably a good thing. With each passing day, I am realizing more and more that it's an inside job; no need for things or attention. Just to aim to be at Peace. And an earnest effort to give without expectation. People and things come and go, change, and everything in between. But true Peace is sustainable. This is the Reality I hope and work for. I hope you find it, too.

Happy We Took Your Country Day!

Also, to my way of thinking, there is nothing trite about expressing gratitude, know matter what time of year it is. It is refreshing to see somebody who doesn't take things for granted and appreciates the things that she has been given!

When directing a show, I always tell my casts that they should strive for "inner applause." Applause from the outside eventually ceases. When the curtain falls on a show, and an audience goes wild, no matter how long the ovation lasts, eventually it comes to an end. Inner applause, once you find it, lasts forever.
Happy Turkey Day, kid.
It's good to hear from you.!
