So my wife called me screaming this morning to get down here to the basement where she found a cockroach crawling on top of the washing machine when she was about to do the laundry. . I put the little guy or gal in a tiny plastic bag. A few minutes later, when again I was watching TV upstairs in the den came the panic scream when she saw a house centipede crawling rather slowly (for a house centipede ) across our kitchen floor. This houseguest got its own plastic bag too. After I got back into my bedroom, I wondered how my live collection of critters escaped from the modified aquarium where they now reside.
