The Bible admonishes God’s preachers to“reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2Timothy 4:2).
While it should be done in love, it still should be done,(Ephesians 4:15). “They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly”. (Amos 5:10)
When church members are not able to “Dwell together in unity,” there could be something in the church that does not
please the Lord. “When a man ‘s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Proverbs 16:7)
How many of us love the Bible more than our necessary food? Job did. “Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” (Job 23:12) It seems that the Psalmist also did—“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.”
We will suffer loss if we neglect and delay to obey the Word of God. Satan may succeed in keeping us from ever obeying it. However, there is a way to keep this from happening. Do not put it off—“I made haste, and delayed not to keep Thy commandments.” (Psalm 119:60)
The person who has it hard here in this world is not necessarily the person who has no money. It is the person that has no morals. (Proverbs 13:15)
Remember, the most important thing we need to do if we want the Lord to help us in the future is to give Him thanks for helping us in the past. ------------
