A well-marked highway is important to us when we travel by autumobile. Signs that indicate the highway number, the speed limit, and the road conditions are vital. Without these signs it is difficult to travel safely.
The way to salvation is a well marked road. We are not left to wonder about the way to forgiveness of sin, transformations of life, and the certainty of heaven. The Roman Road is clearly marked with eternal truths from God's Word.
Road Sign 1: We have all sinned and need God's forgiveness (see Rom. 3:23)
Road Sign 2: Our sin separates us from God, and leads to spiritual death (Rom.6:23)
Road Sign 3: God loves us so much that Jesus paid the price for our sin (Rom: 5:8).
Road Sign 4: God's gift of salvation is ours when we believe and confess Jesus Christ (Rom: 10:9-10).
Remember, God loves you, and He wants to give you the precious gift of salvation today. Are you on the well-marked road of salvation? Romans 10:13 says, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Open your hearts to Him, and trust Him as Savior and Lord today.
