I'm posting this because I just happen to have all these ingredients on hand. I wouldn't go out and buy the ranch dressing mix just for this because there are a lot of more inexpensive things that can be added to burger meat to make it 'different' and 'exciting.' It reminds me of all the effort I've seen put into making canned pork and beans 'special' so I'm including my spin on it.
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers
1 onion, chopped
Directions
Preheat the grill for high heat.
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, egg, crushed crackers, and onion. Form into hamburger patties.
Lightly oil the grill grate. Place patties on the grill, and cook 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Makes 8 servings. -- from Allrecipes.com

When it comes to canned pork and beans, over the years cooks have been trying to glorify them by adding brown sugar, molasses, cooked bacon, catsup, barbecue sauce, and/or diced onions. In response, the manufacturers have added all these ingredients in various combinations, but it still tastes like canned baked beans. Try this:
1 can pork and beans, any flavor
1 can diced green chilies (the mild kind)
Whatever else you want to add: chopped sauteed onions, barbecue sauce, diced cooked bacon.
Stir 'em together, heat, and serve.
Heavenly Hash - Baked Beans and Hamburger
Brown some hamburger with minced onion. Drain off the fat. Stir in a can of pork and beans and a can of diced green chilies. Can be served with hot dogs for a real all-American gut bomb, or even on buns like sloppy joes.
