I really like Jack Black, have seen several movies where he had minor roles before he became a big name, and he stole the show in every case. Not all his subsequent roles have been stellar, but I always look forward to seeing what he is doing.
Nice story, Fredo.
I hope they do find something to fix, as you say, because nothing is worse, especially with all the pain you are in, to have them say 'nope. Don't see a thing.' That's when you go order your tombstone that says "I told them I was sick." You are in my thoughts.
Thanks for the recipe, Fredo. I happen to have some basil plants and this is just in time.
And meanwhile, what are the other kittens doing? Hugs to all there.
I like the Six Flags reference.
What a nice story, Larry. Did you see that news item about the uniforms for the USA Olympics team were made in China? And I think the hats look really dumb.
What do all the other kitties have to say about the new family? Hugs to all there.
My theory is that our days are numbered, and we will die on the day our name is written in the Book of Life. If we don't go one way, we go another. But that doesn't make it any easier to accept something that seems so random.
I loved the young Geraldine Page in that old movie Dear Heart.
Can't wait until they start playing hard.
Utility bills are always going up, they always find a way. The electric bills on my two rental cabins went from less than $6 a month in the winter, when closed down, to $16.00 a month (each) every month of the year, and any usage is on top of that.
I laughed at the 'look, the dog' statement, because that was what I was thinking, too. In this age of picky eaters disguised as folks with allergies, I've found it's best to present a variety of foods, like your tapas buffet, and maybe everyone will find something they will eat. Of course, you've dined with these ladies before, so probably have a fairly good idea, but one never knows.
