Well, the weather decided not to agree with my plans this weekend. I was really looking forward to staining the back deck, and finishing the project all by myself. Yeah me! Instead it poured down rain on Friday night which meant it was way too wet on Saturday. Then it was scheduled to rain today, so I could not even do it on Sunday. I need three dry days to get this done, and I'm not sure it is going to happen. I may have to hire the college kids to do it for me. Damn! I wanted to do it!!!

I called a girlfriend and we ended up spending a good part of Saturday at the Chicago Botanic Garden. It was three women, two babies (four months and six months old), and lots of fresh air and gossip. It was exactly what I needed. It felt so great to be outside all day!

Andy came by on Saturday night, and we watched "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." A very funny and way off color series about three guys who own a bar and the bar-tending sister. I highly recommend it, but be prepared to be offended. It's so funny!!!

Sunday I had to put in a couple hours of work, but it was no big deal. I worked in the garden and finally mowed the lawn.

The best news of the weekend is that I have convinced NP to come out and visit over Thanksgiving. I'm so excited that I can hardly take it!!! There is going to be a ton of great sex! We've sent back and forth some very racy texts, and I can't wait to kiss him!!!!

Gwen usually visits then, but she told me that she couldn't afford it. I will miss her during our new family traditions such as drinking warm, spiced wine while watching the lighting of the big Chicago Christmas tree. I'm thinking about going out and visiting her over Christmas. I need my big sister time!!!!
