having a day off possibly more,took the van over for its new top this morning, then done some shopping arrived home to some bad news,my brother aged 75 passed away at 9am.
Not such a big shock, but still when it happens its a kick in the pants for sure, he had struggled with a heart bypass 22 years back and then lost his legs 4 years back with diabetes, He rang me last Saturday morning to say goodbye and that he loved me , said he was on oxygen and not the best then the phone cut out
Rang the hospital immediately to check and was told by the head nurse that he was having a panic attack and assured me he was as comfortable as they could make him and he was being treated with his medication.
Takes 2 hours by road to see him so i rang him in the afternoon and he was as good as gold, even apologized for ringing me, rang him again Sunday morning and he was quite chirpy. This morning he's gone , now i'm the last of the family-- BUMMER.
