Holy crap I walked to work!

Alllllll 1.92 miles of it!

On a Monday!

A normally 5 minute drive turned into a 45 minute walk, with a small detour into a local coffee house for a latte. I needed the extra fuel. And I have to admit, I rather liked it. Cleared my head before I got to the office, had more energy and in a great mood when I got here.

Foolishly, however, I called my mother to boast of my accomplishment and she promptly freaked out, “WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO GET HOME!? IT’LL BE TOO DARK! YOU COULD GET MUGGED!”

Note to self: Don’t call mom when you want to feel good about yourself…
