So, she was in her seventies when she painted this... good on her. it looks like gouache on paper, and the condition is poor. the paper's wrinkled, the paint is cracked, it's been poorly glued on some backing that appears to have shrunk, it has no mount and is poorly framed.
A good restorer might be able to do something with it, but i doubt if it is worth it. take it in to the nearest largeish art gallery -- they always have someone who aspires to be the director of MOMA who willrefer to books and tell you if it is worth spending money on. it's a very jolly painting and an unusual composition for a floral arrangement. I understand you liking it --i do too it is so original in concept. If it were mine I'd take it to a competent framer and have it displayed properly with a mount and frame that enhances and complements it.

It seems some gays trying to prove they are just as foolish as heterosexuals. Surely there's a limit to this desire to prove we are no different? Marriage hs been hi-jacked by religion, so all anyone should worry about is gaining equal rights for long-term partners and any offspring.

Why anyone wants to get involved with state bureaucracy beats me! surely you live together because you love each other... who need a piece of paprt to prove it?

If you look carefully at those three leaders, you will se the difference between them is illusory. Rooseveldt deliberately permitted the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbour because it was useful for the USA economy so the USA could enter the war. Churchill returned tens of thousands of Russian prisoners to Russia, knowing they would be executed as soon as the crossed the border, he ordered the gassing of Kurds as bad as Saddam Hussein in order to control middle eastern oil, and the division of europe, africa and asia by those three after the war has caused at least as much agony, probably more misery and ongoing wars as Hitler instigated.
As for Beethoven... Full of sound and fury, signifying very little. It is possible the utter crap that poses as contempory 'classical' music might never have arisen if he's been aborted.

1. Rats can last longer without water than camels. Because they don’t eat desert.

2. Your stomach has to produce a new layer of mucus every two weeks or it will digest itself. Unless, of course, you’ve been strumming your catarrh.

3. The dot over the letter "i" is called a tittle. And those who meticulously dot their i’s and cross their tees are engaging in tittle-tattle.
4. A raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will bounce up and down continuously from the bottom of the glass to the top. It’s called raisin’ your hopes.

5. A female ferret will die if it goes into heat and cannot find a mate, because, unlike it’s stomach, its womb hasn’t a fireproof mucus lining.

It is crazy. Public transport [train and bus] should be free and the drivers paid high wages to get the best drivers. only if we do that can we stop people using cars and adding to greenhouse gasses. Are the trams also on strike? in the rest of Europe trucks and fishermen are striking because of the price od petrol. How much is a litre of petrol in the Netherlands now?

Ah, Robin... you are sensitive. I understand exactly how you feel. I have left several forums because of unnecessarily snappy/unpleasant comments about my opinions. I find it very difficult to cope with the idea that someone dislikes me. If she's a bigot, then be proud that you aren't her friend. I like you!

yoghurt was probably the healthiest thing you ate that day... it's a sign... eat more [unsweetened].

My first live professional theatrical experience was a pantomine... I was about 5 years old and I couldnt believe the sets. I really believed there were trees and forests and magic paths and magicians with puffs of smoke.. At that moment I knew i wanted to be on a stage living such magic. After a dozen years of professinal acting though, the magic wore off. The real world is more fun and keeps feet on the ground and brains from overheating.

Rock n Roll was good to dance to... from Bill Haley right through the era of the 'Twist'; but it never occurred to me to sit down and listen to it. there's nothing to engage the intellect. Jazz always seems 'sour and unhappy' to me and I can't listen. I've never sat down and really listened to any music that wasn't composed between about 1650 and 1850...
