i am so glad that last week is over. it has got to be a better one to come. i hope.

the week started out bad and just seemed to get worse. on tuesday morning we had a blizzard hit us. we got about 10 inches of snow, blowing, and very cold. my asst manager called me about 11 and told me to stay home. they were closing the station early. i hadn't planned on going in anyway. my friends told me she would switch days with me. since she was right in town anyway.
wed i had off. so i just stayed home and did a whole lot of nothing. lol
thursday i had a 9 hour day. it started off great. until about 2 hours into it. i was waiting on a lady and all of the sudden i hear this thud. i looked up from my till and she was gone. on the floor she had passed out. i came flying out from behind my regiaster to make sure she was ok. she hit hard. my boss and another gal came flying from across the store and called the ambulance. the gal was awake by then and alert but had no idea what happened. another very kind gentleman and i just sat there with her till the ambulance came. the paramedics checked her over and she seemed to be fine. thank goodness.
friday i worked and everything went great. but once again we had a big blizzard coming our way. so i got up saturday morning and called my mother in law. i wanted to see if i could stay there sat night if this storm did hit us. she said that was fine. so i left for work about 1 and the roads were fine alittle rainy but nothing to bad. i got to work and about an hour later here came the snow and winds. i was working with the manager that night and she decided soon as they closed the interstate down we would close. so about 4 we started our clean up for the night and about 20 mins later they did close the interstate. from mitchell to the wyoming boarder. about a 300 mile stretch. this was a big storm. by the time we got the rest of the clean up done it was really bad. so i decided i wasn't taking the chance of going home. so i went and stayed with my mother in law for the night.

i got up sunday morning and the crud had hit me again. i had sinus infection and my one ear was plugged. i do think though that part of it is allergies. i am allergic to dog hair and she has a dog. i got home yesterday afternoon and it did seem to get a little better. except one of my ears is totally plugged.

so that was my week from hell. this week has got to go better. i hope.

the twins each have a walker now. so they are out in the kitchen playing bumper cars and just having a bawl. it just bring a smile to my face to watch them play and laugh and be happy little guys.
