Really Knew I Wish What Was Going On.

there has been so much stuff going on at work the last few weeks it would make anybodies head spin. ok, to begin with we were told that after hunting season were all going to be cut down to one day aweek and we were all supposed to stay there. live on them hours till spring and then go back to our regular hours. no way in todays economy, there has to be two incomes coming in to raise a family. so i had kinda started looking for a job. well last week the bomb shell hit. the big boss came in one day and told the general manager they need to have a meeting. so he took her down to one of the rooms and fired her on the spot, no warning. had the new general manager there an hour later. in my mind it was a poor reason to be fired. so ok we have yet another manager. (4th since i have been there.) so one of the first things i asked her is if were still going down to 1 days a week. well with answer i got sound like we were. so i am filling out applications trying to find a job within the next 3 weeks. so i don't have a lapse in my income. well yesterday i get a call from a gal that works the night shift telling me that the manager called her and asked her what size of uniform she would wear. she was ordering new ones. so i thought ok what the hell is going on. if were are all going back to one day a week the boss would not let her buy new uniforms for everybody. plus i did not get a call hense i have yesterday and today off. so i sit here thinking well i must be letting go since i didn't get a call for a size. well come to find out my daughter was supposed to give me a message yesterday. telling me to call and let her know my sizes. so now i am really confused, do i have a job for 1 day a week or still full time. i hate sitting here in the dark. i am still going to go in and apply at one more place today. if i get it i would have 40 hours a week and 2 dollars more an hour. can't pass it up. but i am still going to let her order me a new uniform. and i hope i get this other job and they are stuck with this uniform. and i hope it is the ones with our names on them so they can't give it to someone else to use. i am just a bich ain't i. well i guess the way i look at it i can leave everybody in the dark to.a href="https://mybloggers.com/cgi-bin/blogapp/img.cgi?image=26321928.jpg" title="Share this image!">

Not the manager's fault, folks - I am the previous GM. Lay this crap on the owner's head and his alone as according to him, "he" can't make a profit having the front desk staffed 24/7 and putting it bluntly, he doesn't give a damn about anyone else. I believe I was fired because I tried to fight him on letting all my staff go like he told me to - I wouldn't do it and told him it wasn't right, these people have families to take care of and bills to pay. His response? "Not my problem!" But one thing I didn't tell my staff is I tried to save their jobs by going to Corporate (over top of the owner's head) - I may be wrong, but I have this gut feeling Corporate came down on him and this is why the sudden changes. One thing's for sure - owner doesn't like being argued with or being asked to treat others with respect.

Well, I hope that you get the job with 40 hours and extra pay raise. It is not good living from moment to moment wondering if you will have a job or not. It sounds irresponsible on management's part.
