my computer is finally fixed. it has been down for a couple months. so i haven't been able to be on a whole lot. we do have a computer at work that we can use. but you know i work auwfully hard sitting behind that desk just waiting for people to check in or out. i work front desk at the motel i work at. most of my day is just alot of sitting around. put it this way i work about an hour a day and spend the rest of the day looking for something to do to kill the boredom. my boss finally said i could go down and help with laundry. for a long time they wanted us strictly on the desk.

now i need some advice. my boss came in a few weeks ago and had a meeting with the general manager. it was about the front desk help. nothing we did wrong but that he was cutting us back to one day a week after hunting season was done. WHAT one day a week and we are supposed to live on that and stay with the company. cause once spring hits he wants us all to come back to our normal hours. now you tell me what human being in there right mind can do that. in todays economy family need 2 full time incomes to make it. so now what to do. my thinking right now is to stay that one day a week and keep my foot in the door and get another part time job. that way when spring does come i can go back to regular hours. but do i want to do this every year. cause it sound like this is the way he is going to run it from now on. what do i do. or another thought we had was seeing if the boss would let us have 2 days a week and staying home with my boys. which would be hard on the income. see right now i work days and lloyd works nights. so we don't have to have daycare. we just sleep when they do. but they are going to get to the point pretty soon were there not going to sleep all the time. they are going to be up more during the day and lloyd isn't going to get any sleep. the thing is i don't make enough to put them in daycare and pay for gas to make it worth my while to work. i would make nothing. so my thought right now is to hopefully my general manager can talk my boss into giving me 2 days a week and staying there. which makes more sense to me then finding full time and trying to go full time somewhere else and pay for daycare. besides i really don't want my twins in daycare unless i absolutly have to. so somebody give me some advice cause right now i am at a lose of what to do.

any way i better end this for now. i have like 4 baskets of close behind me to fold and a ton more in the basement to wash. sounds like a fun day off don't it. lol
