I'm here, I swear I am.
One new change...well...it's not really a change yet, but we have been thinking on moving from this place. Anywhere from a month to maybe 4-5 months from now.
We have been living here for about 8 years now, and we think that it is about that time to move on. We want to move somewhere a bit more in the suburbs. Somewhere a bit more quiter.
Besides, the landlady has been a bit crabby lately since we couldn't hand over all the rent right away. We have just been short on cash and trying to catch up with other bills as well...and now since the economy seems to be going to shit...gas prices and prices of everything else going up, there is really not that much left over.
We were amazed on her crabbiness because even my fiancee cuts the grass, snow blows in the winter, sprays the windows clean in the summer, and when he cleans the car, he also washes hers. My fiancee told me that if she keeps being crabby, he just will not do any of that stuff anymore (he does it to be nice...it's not required), and her find someone else to do it...since she is close to (or is) in her 80's.
Just thinking about how much stuff we have accumulated over the years here, and how much we are going to have to go through, get rid of, etc, is just mind blowing. (sigh) This includes all the junk drawers in this house. lol!
If we can't find a place in the suburbs right away, then we might move someplace around here temporarily that is cheaper and maybe a bit smaller until we can find something nice and comfortable.
Anyways, that is about it for now. Hope everyone is doing good...
