Racial Hyper Sensitivity

See this picture above? Do you find this rascist in any way?

Apparently this Vogue Magazine cover, is bringing up some racial controversy and here is
THE ARTICLE. Some are saying that it makes it look like it's potraying "King Kong" and it is making the black men appear as if they are all dangerous individuals.

I'm sorry, but run that by again?

I personally think that people are just a bit too defensive about this. I certainly did not see it that way. I saw it as two gorgeous people on the front of a fricking magazine having fun at a photo shoot!

Lebron James said that he was only showing a little emotion and as far as Lebron is concerned, he doesn't care what people think.....and well, NEITHER DO I AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE!!!

I think that the ones that thought this to be racial in any way, still have racial issues left in their closet. I mean King Kong? Get real people!

I understand that rascism is still a big deal to some people (and probably more so around the world than I am aware of). The only difference is skin color and cultures. But if you think about it, we ALL have a different culture that we were brought up with.

It doesn't matter if you are purple, blue, orange, red, yellow, or a little tiny green alien from a far away planet called WHOGIVESASHIT!

I am tired of seeing rascism in this country and I am tired of people thinking something is rascist when it truely isn't! Know the difference and get over it already!

The real racists, are the people who see this picture as racist; it shows where their mind is at, and it isn't colorblind!!!

As you say--the complaints come from something within themselves causing their sensitivity. I do not find it racists in any way, but I don't look for crap like that!

Oh for goodness sake. My first thought was, "Where do they get off stopping at size 16? If they can go to one extreme, size 0, why not go to the other extreme?

People see what they want to...and the results are simply that...nothing here aren't even an issue, consequently I agree

I agree with you....when I saw it I thought it looked like they were clowning around having fun. Racist????? How stupid. Sounds like something Al Sharpton would say. I am a 67 year old woman born and raised in the Deep South and I don't see anything racist in it.

Actually I just saw this cover on someone elses blog talking about how much skin the woman is showing compared to the guy.
People will always find something to whine about...
