Mother may not be with the family physically, but somehow I can believe she is with us in other ways. Whether by spirit or memory.
She did the best that she knew how with me and my sister and I am thankful for that, and I thank her for that, even though she is not here to accept it in a physical sense.
She did the best that she could with the means that she had and that is all that we could ever ask for.
I will try not to think of it as a sad day. I will try celebrate it because I have her in me...my sister has her in her as well. Just because she cannot live for us now, doesn't mean that we can't live for the sake of her.
