Are we really ready to have Metallica's version of Guitar Hero as a video game? It appears that Metallica is talking with Gamespot on the matter. It will be a Metallica-Only edition and on various consoles!
So far, there hasn't been any word on what songs will be featured in this edition, but I am just hoping that they lean more towards their older songs from the 1980's and some early 1990's. Their recent songs don't stick to their true headbanging style that they once had.
In my eyes, they look and sound more weak and sappy (hey, I used to be a true Metaillica fan but since they are not being true to themselves, I feel there is no point). In my opinion, it's Metallica's way of making some quick cash when it hits the stores.
However, if you still get into Metallica as much as what the 1980's had to offer, then be on a look out for it sometime in 2009!
