Been to Houston and back - a LONG way from Eugene - in many ways. Had some good BBQ though, that you can't really get here. Tried to do a little video on why a certain software gives reliable results for a certain type of heat exchanger - BORING! But what can I do - we all got to scramble these days to make it when retired. Anyway the energy companies are doing pretty well these days - updating their equipment - and that makes good business for the heat exchanger companies. So the Iraq mess may have had a few non-intended good results - e.g. everyone is scrambling to see how they can get a piece of the wind and solar equipment manufacturing. This time I think we will be there to stay - the last sources of cheap oil in the Middle East are no longer cheap and never will be again. Glad to be back in Oregon watching CNN. Watch out Obama, notice McCain and MIC do not like to play Economy/Education/HealthCare, so they want to change the game to NATIONAL DEFENSE! (Vastly more profitable for the MIC).
Well it will be a horse race - just better do a urine test on those horses.
