See me for who I am,
In twilight days, before I die
I've lost more than my car keyes
An aged life, many things, lost indeed
Just don't loose track of me,
In my confusion need.
Once, I played a part in war battles, legendary
Once, I protested to make a social change
Once I was young and full of life
Now, age and disease does creep
To rob me of my rightful slendure,
Shuffled gait and confusion, now I endure
Independence lost, a helpful hand now I need
Laugh not at me
Yell not at me
For what age has taken from me
See me for who I am,

But my standards are a bit higher,
Played nice, but the blatant errors continue.
If I wanted friends, would join a dating service...

Sent home, "over-staffed", bullshit!
Saw it coming, my demands unmet,
Sloppy nursing is the standard there,
