Oh hell, it's follow through time. Who reported whom, who's doing what. Battle lines drawn. Your last stop , my bane to live. Personally, hid from your drama, till State drama you called upon; and threaten to do again and again. Scapegoated me once - but not twice; am hip to your game. Just why is it that I'm the one that administration chooses to play out the final game? Gave you benefit of the doubt, just plain strange, belligerent strange. Continued disregarared of chain-of-command; continued threats of more calls to state. What the hell, told point blank - was scapegoated once, won't take it twice. Am expected to hammer the final nail in her coffin, yet, told to play nice and be tollerant. Am tollerant and understanding of my demented residents, am squeezed between a rock-n-a-hard place. Hell, what more is needed to show - a problem employee. Just don't understand why the problem employees are placed with me? Perhaps, once, my opinion counted,but just how many hits can I take from "problem employees"? Am beginning to be paranoid, mistrustful, second guessing my job security. Perhaps after 8 1/4 years, may be my time to move on. Unfortionately, where I work now is the best dementia care in my geographical area (or was) - am left wondering what I should do. I just wont work for a facility witrh substandard care. Yet, has come down to employee X or me. I followed through, in my charting, in my multi-tracking follow through of the res' expected decline, in my follow throughto the family (patient/family teaching of what is "expected" in the ususal progression of dementia). My patience worn razor thin these days - just what more can I follow through on? Private support fails when employee X continues to undermine ALL that I do.
