Have had the greatest of times playing l8 during the month of October. The Summer heat and humidity was no fun, but, we all knew that once Fall comes around, you can not beat playing 18 on a beautiful, crist, high blue sky, that is what Fall golf is all about. Well, today and for the past 2 weeks, are friends from West Va are back and we look forward to their coming, as, after all, it is Fall. Cool temperatures, good company and what a way to spend the afternoon
Well, guess what? The miserable heat and humidity of Summer is still with us, and we are in North
Central Florida! What in the hell is going on? Sweating, drinking fluids, toweling off and cursing the Golf Gods for keeping us in this miserable Summer pattern.
So, we are headed over to Daytona Bch for a few days in the sunshine and heat. Want to bet what the temperature will be? Hope not that it reverts to normal, but, the way that the "Fall" has shaped up, won't be surprised if it is a high of 72 and a low of 48 at Daytona.
Whatever it is, it is!
