Well, it was one hell of a boring race. Can not say anything else about it. No more Thunder Valley.. It is a shame, as what was once a great spectator event has turned into a boring Sunday jaunt arount a track inside of a mountain. But, we had a good time with our friends and met some real nice ;people from Charleston, West Va and from Winston Salem NC.. So, we will probably go back one more time as our camp sight was beautiful, backed up to the mountain and private so that we could put on the fire pit and sit around at night a nd get to know our neighbors. Food was great, booze was plentiful and the weather was good. So, the event surrounding the race was more than expected, and the race was expected to be dull and it was.
