I like the sound of 39, as in Jack Benny's age. Or, how about l939 and the European adventure with the Germans who were starting the Third Reich. I transgress. The American job scene in 2039, a mere 30 years from now, will look like what? Will another Detoit emerge with automotive jobs and the rippling effect that this industry has? Will Pittsburgh have the steel mills up and running? Will New England have the Textile Industry back? Will we still have a Space Coast Industry? Will we have a Middle Class to work in the aforementioned Industries? Sadly, the answer appears to be one that our generation does not want to hear. The answer is, not in this global mentality that our government has committed its populace to.
So, we will compete with SE Asia, India, Korea and the Eastern nations ending in ish,nam, stan and Shazam!! How, one wonders will this occur. Well, no middle class to worry about and that leaves us with an Elite ruling class, the government, and a labor class, the people to supply the cheap labor for the factories that will emerge to compete with the new World Order of China, Russia, India, and, perhaps the Arabs. Hopefully, I am wrong, as I will not be around to see this occur. Hopefully, we will have some leaders in our Congress who will ste.p up and bring back our jobs that have been outsourced. Hopefully, this will occur now, within thenext 6 months. If not, we will fall completely out of status as a "world power" as our currency and our faith in our government will take a deep dive.
Let a congressman start the movement now to bring back jobs by cutting a deal with American firms with no corporate taxes for 5 years. Let a congressman or woman, start a movement to put tariffs on incomeing goods that will level the playing field. Lets get strong again in the Industrial World. Lets manufacture instead of buying from Foreign nations. Lets put the Us back in the USA! Lets have a leader tell the Unions that you no longer have a say in benefits. You have a say in Wages and Hours, and thats it! Lets go Congress, step up to the plate and save this country from becoming a Third World Nation as we are treading water right now and who knows how long we can last on this present course. Bring Back American Industries to this country and to hell with the rest of the world. Globalization is leading us into a Socialistic State in which 2 classes will exist and Marx would be right in that a shot will not go off for us to fall.
