I was in my local supermarket this past weekend to buy some tuna fish when this bright gold rectangular shaped can caught my eye.....and my finger. Yeah, it was wedged between some cans of Starkist Tuna I had grabbed that were on sale. I prefer Starkist to that tuna with the stinging hymenoptera or sleazy mermaid on it or those natural tuna fish caught without harming whales or dolphins or sponges.

Now looking at this gold can,I could see it was a can of Oscars Hot Peppered Kipper Snacks. Now, I'm not a big fan of peppered kipper snacks or any kind of other sardines . BUT if I'm going to eat any, I want them in their own natural brine, not marinated in mustard or tomatoes or vinegar or olive oil. I don't know about you but I also don't want my kipper snacks skinless or boneless or in a cracked peppered smoked hot sauce. Just thinking about that would give my wife a gastritis attack, I know. So PLEEEEZE Oscar, will you leave my freakin' kipper snacks alone.
