Marie Calendar
I purchased some Marie Calendar frozen dinners the other night my wife asked me to buy. She wanted to try this sesame beef and I opted for the teriyaki chicken on this particular evening she wasn't cooking and I wasn't ordering in as we often do. Anyway, she ripped part of the directions for cooking on both boxes . She told me we have to go to a church to eat . This seemed very odd to me. First of all, we're Jewish and we never go to a church unless it's for some kind of wedding or sale the church is running. But I am not one to argue with my wife. When it comes to cooking, she's the boss.
You see when she ripped the cooking directions. she read that we had to heat these Marie Calendar dinners in a Convent Oven, rather than a conventional oven. So, I drove to a local church and we both went in for our first time there and had dinner with some nuns and priests. When one of the nuns asked me if I enjoyed my chicken, I said it was heavenly.
