Spring cannot arrive soon enough…

Regardless of the temperatures these last few weeks I have been busy outside getting ready for what looks like one busy spring!

I have the Spring Chickens (and 1 Rooster) ordered – They will be in the 2nd week of April.



I have all my seeds (Herb and Vegetable) as well as potting soil. I will plant them this weekend and let them grow indoors for the next 8 weeks.



The north barn will be finished in the next few weeks then we will be ready for our new baby cows – They will need to be bottle fed for the first month… I can’t wait!!

As of right now it is softly snowing. I don’t mind the inch or so they predicted, as it’s not ICE! The Ice Storm that hit us last November just melted off a few weeks ago… I don’t mind winter. In fact I love each season and always look forward to the next… I could however do without ice storms permanently!

I plan to get to Omaha in a few weeks to celebrate a belated birthday with my brother Tony (Fugzy) who will turn 41 here on the 28th.
I can’t wait to see the twins. I have not seen them since mid November and the pictures and webcams just aren’t enough. They miss me, and I miss them!!

Now it’s time to catch up on all that I have Tivo’d through the week. I did manage to catch bits and pieces of Idol and loved the fact that Tatiana was NOT voted in… YAY!
