I kept a diary for a couple of years in high school. When I read it now, I don't know who the people were because I gave them all nicknames and now don't remember. I just know I sure was a boy crazy teenager. And very naive.
I have not seen this before. It is LOL funny. Will I be smitten (smiten?) if I forward it?
What was the limoncello dessert? I thought limoncello is the lemon sugar flavored vodka.
Our weather page in the Tribune had a piece about Illinois being in a drought now. You got more rain than we did. We got none up north but the southern suburbs got a little. We are supposed to get some rain tonight. We shall see. This is a big spread out area. One of the farmers from WI at the market today said they are still putting out their drip hoses. The farmers from MI aren't going to have many peaches or blueberries this year.
I love the pictures of your property. Do you get your water from the river? What happens when the river water is cut back?
I learned, when I got a new roof, to take down pictures and things on the walls so they don't fall off from all the banging. My dining room chandelier was dislodged and crashed down onto the table where I had just been sitting. Scary. I don't remember more dust than usual.

I got bumped up to first class once. Very nice. Warm wet towels. Wide seats. I am usually over the back of the wing trying to see the ground.

While you were living your active life in NY, I was married with two kids in suburban Chicago. We saw Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and Jose Feliciano. I saw Judy Garland with Liza Minelli and the nursemaid at Henrici's Restaurant when I was 10 and Liza was about 4. Movies were going through a change then.
