Heading Back Home

Well we made it back home safe and sound. Headed to Sioux Falls area yesterday at about 1 pm, got there about 11:30, so it was a long car ride. Roads were terrible, I about flipped the jeep once because of the ice, so my dad took over driving.
Got to my moms house last night, and pretty much went straight to bed, I was so excited to see her all week I was having a hard time sleeping. I woke up this morning to my mom and my baby brother sitting next to me waking me up, which was the greatest feeling I've had in awhile. Got up, went and got my mom a pop, came back and played life for a couple hours, then said good bye about 1. I about lost my mind when I was hugging them and saying goodbye, but I kept my composure and at least got out of the house. Made it down close to Vermillion before I couldn't help it anymore, and completely lost it. I didn't want to leave, but knew I had to. Will and I talked about moving back home, or at least closer, and it looks like we might move back about January ish.
We got my dad all packed up, and we got on the road close to 3 pm headed up to I 90. The roads were perfect until we hit about 2 and a half hours out of Rapid. We had 4 or 5 near death experiences, and I started crying once again because I was so scared. 2 simi's cut us off, going about 50 on straight ice. I was already fish tailing, so these guys were just straight assholes, and weren't understanding that we could only go 15 to 20 on a 75 mile per hour stretch.
We made it home about 930 ish. A lot of prayers were said on that long 2 hour period of time where we were only going 20 miles per hour. I can't wait to go home again, it was well worth seeing my family again, I only wish it was for good. I'm sick of being so far away. But only in time I will be there once again. Until tomorrow...

Semi drivers on bad roads are the biggest idiots I have ever encountered. They put everyone else's lives in jeopardy with their ####### driving.
