The Process of Finding My Father

I am glad that I called the hospital this morning. They had discharged him yesterday some time after him and I got off the phone.
The hospital wouldn't give me much information at first on where he went to because he didn't answer his phone at home. He had mentioned something about a rehibilitation center but didn't know when he was going or where it would be.
So, when my friend came by to pick me up, I told her that for now, I have a missing father. She suggested that we go to the hospital anyways to see if there was someone to give us more information. Mind you, the hospital is on the other side of town. We get there and finally after a bit, we found out exactly where he was at and that rehibilitation center, was on the other side of town of that practically. We got directions to get there and followed it, but somehow, we got lost a bit and we decided to head back home since my friend had to take her mom to a doctor's appointment.
I called the rehibilitation place back to give him a message since at the time, he was in therapy.
Dad finally called me about an hour after I got home and I told him what happened, and said that the next time I might be able to come out there would either be Sunday evening or Monday. Sunday, I had something planned with my sister early in the morning and I could be back about 3-5pm. Or maybe for Monday since that day is free so far. If it wasn't for my friend driving me, this would of been a painful long ass bus ride.
In the process, my dad added more things to the list of items that he needed plus more of the items that were on the list.
I've got to get 10 pairs of shirts, sox, underwear (ewww dad's underwear. lol!), razor and razor blades, shaving cream, dental floss, toothpaste, and proxy brushes (those are for teeth to, I think), and now he wants his wallet, and for me to unplug his small fridge and throw away all the food.
Upon doing all this, the social worker there, told me that I have to label all his items. Which also means that I have to bring a marker too.
I tell ya. My dad hardly ever asks anything of anyone (I don't remember him ever asking me for a favor), and then now, I have my work cut out for me. lol!
Eh, it's my dad, so it's worth it.

I'm glad you were able to find out where he was. I hope he recovers really soon.
