Yesterday, my friend (the one who's mom passed away on Sunday), took her mother's dog back to her step-dad's place.
This was an unusual dog. Since it is only about 10 pounds, it would go to the bathroom in a cat box and eat cat food. So while he was here, he ate dog food and he was going to learn to go to the bathroom outside. It was finally getting the idea yesterday. I figured that if I took my dog and this other dog out together, he would get the point. In the beginning, it didn't work.

You see, any time my dog would go and do her business, it would try to go up and lick her bodily fluids. GROSS! Or when she was done doing her thing, it would try to go where she was and lick the grass! Since I don't have a closed off yard, they were on leases and he had a shorter leash than hers, it was easy to get him from not doing that and I would just pull him back a bit. This is the only dog that I know that would do something like that...Plus, anytime my dog would get up to walk somewhere, it would follow her and sniff her butt the entire way...making my dog extremely annoyed.
This dog was an extremely jealous dog too. If I was petting Sandy on the couch, it would just look up at me and start wimpering if I didn't give it the same amount of attention...if not more. Or it would jump up, climb on my chest, and smother my face in kisses, and I would have to go and wash my face...knowing where it's mouth has been before. Still, I love animals and I gave into petting him as equally as I could.
Anyways, my friend seems to be taking this pretty well with her mother's passing so far...I honestly don't think I could go into that house for a long while knowing that my mother passed away there. It would just be too creepy for me at first, but she is pretty strong willed and I admire that.
Oh and the ceremony is going to be on June 21rst, but there is no set time for it yet.
By the way, I have been reading most of everyone's posts..but for some reason, I can't seem to focuse on the long posts for some reason.
Anyways, I am out of here, I have to get some sleep since I didn't get much sleep last night (my cough kept me awake). Night peeps.
