When I had gotten to work, things right off the bat, did not go right. Our computers were not working right. I had to have our store manager come and try to fix them before I opened up the store. We got them partially working, but they were real slow. It would take about 2-4 minutes for a printer to print up a ticket, and the driver's side printer just wasn't working at all. So we only had one printer going the entire night and we had to constantly reprint tickets for the pick-up line or delivery.
Then, our store manager accidently put on the schedule a closing driver that cannot work on Sundays. So we had one driver this evening that couldn't stay to pick up that shift obviously. Instead of having a driver until about 10pm, I am guessing that the only driver that we had was probably going to stay until about 9pm or so (not sure, I was out of work around 8pm).
Before I left from work, the credit card machine took a dump, so they could only take cash only orders as well. Plus since we only had one driver, delivery times were for an hour all the wway up to an hour in-a-half.
It was a bit of a crazy night in some areas, but I am sure that they pulled through. Wonder how that is going to work tomorrow for them since there are catering orders and those are to be done with credit cards.
Well, at least I have one relief. My son goes back to school, so I will have a bit of time to myself as well. That will be nice.
I supose I should get to bed soon and then be up no later than 6:30am. Night.
