Still, I managed to send child off to school today and then head off to Wal-mart with one of my friends and her and I got a couple things. I intended to just pick up a 10 pack of socks for C and I, and then a 10 pack socks for my son as well.
By the time I left the store, I had bought...
- 2 big cans of soup
- 2 packages of socks (like I intended to)
- 2 cans of air freshener
- 3 boxes of tissue
- and something else that I can't remember at this time because my brain is in sick mode.
But anyways, I only spent $24 there.
Then, on our way back to her place, I called the school to make sure that my son was doing ok to see if he was sick to the point of having to take him back home, but they said that he is doing alright (just a bit hyper) and he can finish the rest of the day. Basically, just keep an eye out on how he feels tomorrow to see if he is well enough to go to school. After that, I straightened the house a bit and rested some (not much, but some)
This cold is making me tired, but at the same time, I can't sleep much. I am fricking estatic when my nose clears for like 10 minutes so I can smell again. I would much rather have a cough and a sore throat, than to have a stuffy nose and sneazing. My voice right now sounds like I turned into a guy over night (alright, no comments from the peanut gallery!). Sometimes it can suck to be a mom. You are sick, your child is sick, and you are trying to still run around and do things for everyone as if it was a normal day, and all you want to do is stay in bed all day. Oh well...it's a life experience, and I think someone is just testing us to see how strong we really can be. lol!
Anyways, I fell asleep for about 45 minutes this evening watching ECW and now I am up again. I will probably be up for a bit before I fianlly crash for the evening. I just don't want to lay down because then my stuffy nose will get worse again.
Anyways, that's it for now. Have a good night.
